If you have not stayed with us before, we hope the following common questions we are asked are helpful to you, otherwise, please feel free to email us with any other queries.
Are pets allowed? As much as we love pets, due to the abundance of wildlife and wild birds we have here, no pets are allowed.
Can we have a camp fire? Every camp site, has it’s own camp fire pit provided to cook on and toast those marshmallows. Additional fire pits are available to our guests in cabins to use in the campground. We have a very strict camp fire policy.

Can I bring my own firepit? No. Personal fire pits are NOT allowed.
Can I use a charcoal BBQ? Yes. It must be off the ground and the coals disposed of in the campfire pit.

Can I get mobile reception? Yes, in most areas around the campsite you can get reception.

Can I bring my generator? Generators are NOT allowed.
Are there noise restrictions? Yes, we do not allow excessive noise at ANY time. All music and noise must cease from 10pm.
How far are you from the beach? We are just a short 5-minute drive into Huskisson, the start of all the beautiful white sandy beaches. Hyams Beach & Booderee National Park approximately a 20 min drive away.
Do you have toilets and showers? We have a lovely clean amenities block that has flushing toilets and coin operated hot showers.
Why do you charge for the hot showers? $1 coins are required to operate the hot showers to help us conserve our water, which is stored and treated on site and to ensure we have enough hot water for everyone to enjoy. $1.00 gives you 4 mins of hot water.
How far is the walk to the amenities? Depending on where you are camping in the campsite, it takes no more than 2-3mins.

Do you have a camp kitchen? Yes. It has hot/cold water, sinks, power points, kettles, toasters and free gas operated bbqs.
Do you have a communal camp fridge/microwave? No, we do not provide either of these. Ice is available for sale.
Do you hire kayaks? Yes, we have double kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for hire to explore our lovely Currambene Creek. Lifejackets and paddles are provided.
How can I charge my phone if I am on an unpowered site? There are plenty of power points in the communal camp kitchen and also in our amenities block for you to use.
Do you have a shop? Yes, we have some essentials including snacks, chocolate, ice cream and of course, marshmallows. We also sell ice, bait, and wood.
Do you have a laundry? Yes, we have two commercial washing machines and a tumble dryer on site. These are $1 coin operated. $5.00 coins required per wash/dry. We supply free of charge washing liquid/powder for you to use. We also have a large washing line area.
Can I walk to Huskisson? It takes approximately one hour. Please note the first 2 kms are not on a walking path.
Can I cycle to Huskisson? Yes, the bicycle path commences in Woollamia Village.
Can you fish in the creek? You most certainly can and lots of fish are caught. A current NSW fishing licence is of course required.
Can I swim in the creek? Yes, you can, although the water is a little muddy as we have a lot of mangroves at this end of the creek.
Can I bring my boat? Yes, but it cannot be accommodated inside the campsite and would need to park in our carparking area.
Do you have a boat ramp? Our boat ramp is only suitable for small craft, i.e. kayaks, SUPs, tinnies. Woollamia Public Boat Ramp is located just 2.5kms down the road.
Do I need to prebook? In order not to be disappointed, it is always best to prebook your campsite in advance. Please note that post the summer months, we only operate weekends outside of school and public holidays.

Do you allow late check in? No, unfortunately late check in and self check in is strictly not available.
How far are the cabins from the campsites? Our cabins are located on both sides of the camp ground. All are within walking distance.
Do I require 4WD to access the campground? No, all vehicles can access the sites easily.
Can I drive my car onto my site? Yes, we allow strictly one vehicle/site booked. Any additional vehicles, once unloaded, will be required to park outside in the car parking area. Please note that with the water front sites, your vehicle has to park back behind you and not directly on the site.
Can I have visitors? We do allow visitors with the exception of our peak periods. All visitors must report and register at reception and must depart the camp site by 8pm. Vehicles will be required to park outside in our car parking area.
Do I need to bring bedding and towels for my cabin? Main bed is supplied. Additional linen hire packages are available for the bunk beds and need to be booked prior to arrival. Towels are provided to all booked guests.
